It's clear right now that the Rams have a team that can win it all. Whether they will us another issue. What appears settled is that #9 makes this a better possibility than 16 by a long way.

(1) expensive and that has to tbe considered
(2) Stafford was an upgrade to Goff
(3) Rams fans have been talking Super Bowl win since Day 1 of the trade and even more so now

So, to answer your question, no, Stafford does not have to win s Super Bowl to be a good trade
however, number 3--we need to pump the brakes a little

Bears clearly suck, Colts were giving us a hard time--and they lost their QB, we won by 3
Bucs secondary was depleted

and I was vindicated with the Stafford trade. No one ever said, "You were right"

Don't get me started in Brian Allen. I took boatloads of crap on that one. And even when he got the
ob there were all sorts of qualifiers like "He got better"

Well, of course, he got better, all players get better with time and experience. But I was the one who
said he was better than Blythe and THAT as the point. Even when he was playing be was young
and not perfect, but he was better than Blythe then he got hurt then he got COVID. It held him back
but people here still attacked me.

Then he got a chance and full rehab, and experience now he's better, but still, none of the extreme
critics (the reasonable ones have) have the guts to say, "I was wrong" they have to qualify it
as "Well, he sure got a lot better"

Look, I make lots of mistakes. I was high on Lewis and he's not turned out great. I was very high on Rapp
and he's okay, but not yet where I want him to be.

But I am not stupid. And I know what Stafford was and is. I don't just watch Rams football. And I have
watched the NFL for a lot of years and I have seen a lot of Rams teams and saidly, there have been
a lot of front-running Rams teams that faded.

So, is this one of them? There is no way to know.
