I don't think anyone on here was calling McVay the problem, other than the usual complaints about certain play calls here and there from some...which is normal.

I heard an interesting admission from Jordan in one of her podcast a few months ago that never really made news, but she said that McVay kinda admitted to dialing back the offense last year a bit because the defense was so dominant and actually wanted a more conservative ball control style offense to go with it. Funny how that all seemed to change this year with the Stafford trade and bringing in some speed at WR with Djax and drafting Tutu.

Besides Stafford's pure arm talent, I don't think there is anything that makes McVay happier than having a QB back there that has seen it all and has just that experience which is so valuable to a QB....He went from having a student to a peer at his most important position and that is invaluable

so far, he is looking like a genius for making that move and I have a good feeling that we will be hoisting a trophy at Sofi this year
