1. Will it take Stafford 3 or 4 games before he has command of McVay's offense and shows why they traded for him? 2017 was Goff's first year with McKay. The offense scored 46, 27, 41, and 35 points their first 4 games.

I'm thinking if Goff can do that as a second year player then perhaps Stafford could do something similar.

That was also the first time anyone had seen a McVay offense. Now a number of teams are running a variation of it. The league has adapted and found ways to try and counter it.


So we cannot just assume that Stafford will be putting up 30+ points a week. On the other hand, I don't expect Stafford to hold the ball as long as Goff did and to see the field faster than Goff so I expect a boost from last year's offense.
