Tutu missed a good chunk of training camp but he's delivered in the last 2 preseason games.

at Broncos 8 catches for 62 yards

vs Raiders 8 catches for 46 yards

His yards per catch are nothing special but his route tree is developing nicely.

Most draft pundits thought he would merely be a one trick pony "deep ball" specialist.

He gets tackled easily and lacks wiggle and jukes for a little guy, but he's more than a one trick pony.

By mid season, I expect Tutu to be a solid contributor in McVay's offense.

Tutu where do I start everyone knows I hated the pick and still do. With Nico Collins available and a ton of centers I don't get this pick at all. But rams drafted him and we have to live with it.

The good on tutu he looks solid on punt returns. Hands wise he looks very natural and doesn't struggle with punt concentration. When he has open space his speed looks really good. The bad is he is not explosive and no wiggle to create his own space. One big return he had was negated by penalty reminds me of tavon.

As a receiver his route tree is extremely limited the majority of his catches are from speed outs and or screens. He is yet to make a big play with a ton of opportunities. He literally plays the entire game and is targeted more than any other player. The good is he is getting open and the hands look better than advertised. Also ball security has been a non
issue which I worried about.

Bottom line so far and this is just three games for him but he was targeted 29 times 18 catches 129 yd 7.2 avg long of 20 yds. Not what I would call a game breaker or deep threat. I could imagine this as his stat line for this year and would actually be surprised if he sees more than 29 targets this year unless Jackson gets hurt. Also he is a liability in blocking which is not something we're use to seeing in rams wr.
