I was not a fan of picking Atwell in the 2nd round. At all. But, that said, "Jackson insurance" (plus returning punts) is exactly what they'd like him to be in 2021. In 2022 and beyond they'll want him to become Jackson and ideally more. Not saying he will but I understand that's what they foresee and him starting as the WR5 after getting extensive preseason work is fine. I think there will be a limited package of plays where he does see the field on offense early on. And I agree that him playing with the starters could yield some results.
