Hoecht has played pretty darn well. I don't think either of the Browns has impressed. If they were both cut, I'd think both would make it to the PS. They weren't high picks to start with; and when you don't show much in preseason?
As for your believing that both Lawler and Howard won't make it, a past injury history when it seems to be behind them isn't going to count for much. Injuries happen in the NFL. They picked up Funk who had 2 ACL's and now he's going to be counted on. Wolford had his head ripped off, and now had his appendix out. So do they let him go because of it?
Before you characterize my thoughts as not well thought out (assuming yours must be), let's just wait and see how it all shakes out. We'll know in a few days.
