I'm not meaning any offense.
It's just that you are saying talking points and not providing any references of stats or facts.
The reality is that the asymptomatic carrier stuff has fallen off the table because it has simply proven to be a red herring. The proven incidence is apparently statistically incidental. The same goes for the concern than people that are fully vaccinated could still spread it. Again, no statistical significance..... just fear of it.
Some love to throw the "believe science" stuff out until it proves something they don't want proved.
I have Doctor friends. And we must all realize that Western Medicine Doctors are taught to be skeptical and to take a more or less glass half empty approach to medicine. Risk is to be minimized to as close to zero as possible. I'm not against that, it's just how it is.
But for the rest of us, risks aren't an abnormal part of life..... they are at the center of everyone's lives. For people under 50, the science and the stats have proven that the risks from Covid are minimal. And for people 30 and under, even less so. So the only thing left for concern is that those folks "spread" it. That may have been a reasonable concern some months ago; not so much now that vaccinations are available for every age group..... usually for free.
All that is left is residual fear and certain social/political agendas to be satisfied. Nothing more. We have the vaccines. We have better treatments. They work. And we know what age groups to be the most concerned about and that group is more than double the age of NFL football players.
This stuff of refusal to do voluntary workouts because of Covid ranks right there with the dog ate my homework.
Funny how the same folks that think all people should be forced to have the vaccine, also believe that players should have the choice to come to work or not and suffer no repercussions for it.
