so now that LA county is down to almost a 1% infection rate since California started mass vaccinations, I think its pretty safe to say it is HIGHLY effective in stopping the spread
Quote me medical authorities who state that having studied this, we now know for certain that vaccinated people cannot carry and spread the virus.
What's "safe to say" for us football fans on a message board is not always the same as conclusive medical findings.
On something like this, the better bet is to always go by conclusive medical findings. Regardless what we personally believe.
When conclusive medical findings are in, we may find that vaccination does affect transmission.
you really think this is about them fearing covid? really???
"Fearing" is the wrong word. In fact it's EXACTLY the wrong word.
Being smart is the right term.
Do I think that's a factor? They would be stupid if it weren't.
The NFL and NFLPA managed together to have a season during a pandemic and that was by working together, which often involved clashes which led to compromises and re-thinking.
I don't panic at every blip in the process along the way. They will figure this out and it will be based on good science and good reasoning.
I know it's fashionable to dump on players's demands or negotiating points or statements about their positions. I never shared that. To me that whole impulse can often look completely biased and often nonsensical. There are always 2 sides to things like this.

....
you should read some articles that point out what this is really all about...this is simply a power play using covid as a cover or should I say an excuse to get out of something they tried to negotiate out of the CBA
