And I am one of the many who don't buy it.
You're going to have to live with this--in clashes of opinion like this, there is no "final" or "right" view that "wins" a fight. Some people take their own opinion as a truth and insist on it. But you're going to have to live with the fact that both of us repeating ourselves, with those who share our spin pitching in as if voting were a "win," doesn't accomplish anything.
Besides, just over a week ago I attracted pile-ons and forehead slapping dismay because I said it was clear that the qb and coach had communication issues. That was rejected because who talks that way about the Rams winning coach.
Now people who understand the implications of the Thiry article get full well that yeah they had communication issues.
Guys who have followed Goff his whole career back to Cal were saying weeks ago that in 2020 he did not look like the same guy and they wondered aloud if it was because of the coach, who is known for being something of a control freak.
Well there are people who knew the Rams situation who show up in Thiry's article echoing that.
But again that is just me repeating myself. Sometimes one gets tired of the head butting and says, let others fight this out, I'm done. (Interestingly enough, on a different board I am with the majority on this, and barely have to say anything--it's all mutually understood.)
So rest assured--- I not only don't buy your take, I find it to be implausible. You may think me saying that means I am dead wrong, but I don't care--it's like a couple arguing over their old divorce. If you want to fight, see if you can find someone else. At times there are still people fighting over whether Vermeil hired Martz on his own or was forced to by Shaw etc. So don't worry we have a lifetime to relive the same fight.
Okay lecture over.
We'll meet again, Spiderman, count on it. Brah ha ha ha (evil grin).
