This whole segments is simply debunked its sensational and built on an opinion based premise. His whole argument was that Goff deserved to be fired. Whether that is true or not it doesn't cover the topic AT ALL.
The outrage is built entirely on how McVay goes about things. The culture that he exposed not only Goff to but everyone. It's how the trade went down. It's the dehumanizing of Goff, not only to his team but to the media. Have you ever seen this behavior from a coach? McVay burnt that bridge to keep warm. It begs the question. Why?
Why alienate your QB from your team?
Why destroy your possible trade value by making unoresidented media moves?
In regards to the video. The host claims that Detroit wanted Goff "as much kids want broccoli". Oh brother. The Lions have an intricate knowledge of Goff.
In regards to him saying Goff deserved to be fired, that is debatable. He was not living up to his contract but he was still a talented QB who still has room to improve. Better than Stafford was at the same stage of their career.

I've given my analysis of McVay's personality. I won't bore you with it again but McVay clearly has, at the very least sociopathic tendencies. People such as him are very successful but they tend to bounce quickly.
I'm very afraid of the boat we have tied ourselves to. We are betting everything on a hot head who is very much on the hot seat. His legacy is now predicated on winning it all with Stafford AND Goff not being successful. I'm afraid he will do anything to prove himself right
