Being the #1 defense is a mirage if you fall apart at playoff time. Since when did the standard become "just get it done in the regular season and that'll be good enough?"

If your defense goes from excellent to poop because 1 player is hurt, that's not a solid unit. It's clearly dependent on one great player. It's brittle.

Allowing 5 straight scores to start the game is what put that game out of reach, and I don't think anything could have changed that.
That is the reason they didn't advance any further into the playoffs.

But even if you disagree, it sure looks to me like Michael Brockers' mirror is broken.

I get it if people want to believe all the problems are fixed now, tho. Makes for a more fun offseason.
