Is anybody aware of any ex-coaches badmouthing McVay? With such a large turnover I'd expect that if working for McVay sucked then some of these guys would have commented.

I agree that this whole thing seems fishy, but McVay has established himself as a proven winner. He's earned my benefit of the doubt.

Coaches don't bad mouth.

You see that every year. Coaches are let go or move on. Several a year.

How often if ever do you hear bad mouthing?

It's a small closed fraternity of 32 teams. Bad mouthing is one of the things that gets you kicked out.
