So, the only conclusion I can draw is that there is something we're missing.
I don't see how a reporter won't ask the Rams point blank about this exact topic at a press conference. It beggars belief it won't happen.
If they answer it is another question. But if they dodge or give a non-responsive answer, that would be more evidence for your theory of the case.

I don't see any "inconsistent statements." But boy that guy sure has to be a mess for your narrative to hold up. And your narrative looks like this. Goff gives you all kinds of questions and doubts about what he says, but that does not happen however with coaches and management and what they say or don't say, he says things directly but there is this or that reason to not hear what he says directly.

Meanwhile it would have been pretty doggone simple--and the right thing to do--to just say, we talked to him about this, he knows the situation. Pittsburgh did it. That's how it's done.
