I know they can restructure guys this year but the rams have cap issues in 2021. 1 year deals would exacerbate that problem. With a 2 or 3 year deals the rams can backload it and/or spread out a signing bonus.

The Rams did a creative "1 year" deal with Floyd where they spread his $10M over 3 years and made the last 2 years void. So the 2020 cap hit was like $4M.

There are ways to do things if they want to be players this year without having to stick to long term contracts.
