I'm sure it has, but to me it doesn't make any sense.

I have no doubt that Morris can learn it quickly. By all accounts, he sounds like a quick study and a sharp guy.

It would just seem to be the path of least resistance to hire from within, like Pleasant.

See, that’s the problem in this discussion.

It’s not about ‘continuity’.

Or a hiring from within philosophy.

Or a ‘path of least resistance.

It’s strictly about hiring the best possible available person to be DC for the ‘21 Rams. Period. Full stop.

McVay felt that Morris was that person.

End of story.
