So therefore no pressure on Goff to improve? No pressure on McVay if Goff continued to flounder? I know they could have had options at hand keeping Jared, however I'm talking about the pressure involved. IMO the same pressure to win would have been present with Jared in place. The media would have done what they are doing with Matt IMO.....

IMO they are all in every year he's been the HC....Be it getting Suh, Talib and Peters......Dante and Ramsey.....Stafford....all big time line grabbing plays all meant to get the same thing.....they're all the same type moves, the media is just trying to manipulate it this season for what ever reason they have chosen.....With the cap space I suppose they are trying to make it more of a chance, don't know.....IMO this move is like all his/FO moves they have done in his tenure....risk, payout.....I like it....beats the hell out of playing badly, getting a high pick and going with a Phillips, a Smith, or a Robinson......(although I liked the Greg pick on paper)....
Playing well AND continue going for broke has played out well, not the championship they want, but sure as heck is keeping everyone looking, and with that you get those who are impressed and those who maybe are afraid and therefore put out a negative vibe?
