Two things:
First, Fisher coached the team for 5 years. He took a team that went 7-9 in 2011 and lead them to the following finishes:
2012 7-8-1
2013 7-9
2014 6-10
2015 7-9
2016 4-9 (and fired with 3 games remaining. Which the Rams lost to finish 4-12.)
To say he didn't show progress would insult the low achievers of the world.
Second, the players you mentioned certainly helped propel the Rams in 2017. Do you think the Rams would have made those moves if Fisher was still coach? (I don't) And if they did make all those moves do you the Rams would have been the #1 scoring offense in 2017 with Fisher at the helm? (I don't) Or won 11 games? (I don't)
