Well, first of all I like Bret Stuter and am a fan of his.
Secondly, I can’t think of a single poster that has defended McVay/Snead’s public behavior from the ‘right now’ moment on.
Thirdly, it is preposterous to say that sometimes a player change and bringing in another replacement from outside isn’t necessary to jumpstart a position or unit.
Big Whit is a classic example.
So is Robert Woods. As are Fowler, Suh, Floyd, Peters, Talib, Ramsey, and on and on.
Now it was Goff’s turn to be upgraded. Rams SB clock was ticking and the Rams probably wanted to welcome fans to their new digs with a bang.
Look, it’s not as if McVay didn’t give Goff 41 games of rope, right? Goff had a more than fair shot and it was determined that he was holding the O back. What else were Snead/McVay to do?
I’m a Ram fan, not just a Goff fan. I’m moving on and frankly I’m excited.
