I've said on here multiple times that I didn't agree with how McVay or Snead handled this.
And sure, they've screwed up on some contract extensions.
But as has been said, at least they acknowledge when they've made a mistake and do what they can to fix it.
I'm also not necessarily a fan of always skipping out on first round picks.
Granted, they've been pretty good at hitting with picks past the first round, but that doesn't mean that holds.
These guys have a riverboat gambler streak to them.
Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's not.
I hadn't heard of the writer and looked at his bio and thought it was funny. <shrug>
