Can't say I agree with him. He says Goff tightened up on his ball security in '20? What, for a couple of games? Not to mention the expense of making the offense completely anemic. So yes, he did stop turning the ball over but he also wasn't leading TD drives.
As far as McVay and the Rams taking responsibility, isn't that exactly what they've done? Just how is it more responsible to stick with players and bad contracts? If anything, they clearly recognize when they made a mistake and are quick to address it.
The criticism is that all of these contractual mistakes and loss of 1st round picks HAS to catch up at some point but so far, they have continually proved that they don't need those picks. It isn't like the team is eroding and dipping below .500 and a shell of it's former self. Still trying to win the same way they did two years ago. They have continually evolved and modified what they are doing are still winning 10+ games a year and in the postseason.
