From there your next options are to stay with the status quo or to find a non-upgrade replacement for a fraction of Goff's cost.

If you stay with status quo, it's hard to build the team given Goff's salary. Hence why there are reports of the Rams asking him to take a pay cut.

If they go with a replacement for a fraction of the price, that QB will likely be a downgrade but you free up a ton of money to build the team.

None of the three choices are ideal.
