I don't think anyone on here, in their heart of hearts, expected the Rams to win Saturday.
Most of the discussion has been about the trajectory of Goff, McVay, and the offense over the past three years, and where the future should be.
I also don't think most posters would dispute the Rams played well considering all the injuries, Goff included. I don't think he had a great game, but he certainly didn't lose it for us. But, paradoxically, let's not kid ourselves: the Rams got their butt's whooped. The final score doesn't do it justice.
The AD99-less defense just couldn't withstand the best offense in the NFL. I'm not sure it would have made a whole hell of a lot of a difference if Donald was 100%. Who knows though? Maybe Donald forces a fumble and leads to a scoop and score and turns the tide.
Bottom line is this discussion we've been having on here goes beyond, waaaaayyyyy beyond, GB.
