You think the board is focussing on just the one game in Green Bay? The discussions go much deeper than just that one game no?
As for the game, I tend to agree with you Green Bay looked like the better team and like you said they certainly were rested, have a great QB, and fantastic scheme and caught the Rams at the right time. And let's face it ... it was warm the other day, especially for Green Bay. The weather had nothing to do with it.

On the road, in cold weather against a rested team. We were missing our best receiver, our QB had a wonky thumb and the leagues best defensive player was a shell of himself. We played against the best QB in the league (one of the best all time), one of the league's best receivers, a great running game and a great O-line. And STILL we were only down one score in the 4th quarter. We played like what we were - a 6th round wild card team. Historically those games don't go in the underdog's favor.
Does it have to be - Goff wasn't good enough, or McVay was outcoached - how about the better team won. It was just their day.
