Rams43
At least 3 players, but maybe even more.
QB (yeah, I said it)
Offensive C
Edge (maybe 2 if Floyd walks)
In addition, McVay must make another good hire for DC (Critical) and hire a quality ST Coordinator.
All relatively doable except for QB and even that is doable since I think McVay can win with other than an elite QB. Doesn’t require a Watson, IOW.
I will say "even more" 43. IMO, we need to beef up the OL as our first priority with a bigger, meaner OC and a bigger, meaner OG or 2. Our OL constantly gets man handled by bigger DL. That HAS to change or we will not being going to the SB anytime soon. A good OL makes the run game click and the passing game too.
Also, change the QB if you want to, but with our current OL, IMO, he would struggle too. Fixing the OL fixes a lot of things...including our current QB. On top of that, it is much cheaper and easier to find quality OL than it is to find a quality QB.
The OL is the "engine" of the offense. You can replace the driver but if your engine sucks...you still won't win the big race!
My order:
OC
OG x2
Legit Deep threat
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
