If the Ram O had had even a decent day, don’t you suppose that that 37 minutes by Packers would have been lessened?
That’s largely on McVay, btw. It was strange that he got away from Akers so much.
But the larger point still stands. Neither the Ram O or D had a good day. And each should be taking appropriate responsibility. BOTH sucked.
No I can't agree with that at lall.... You just can't get around how bad the defense was it that game.
Packers scored on their first five possessions and none of those drives were short fields...they punted two times all day and that was not until late in the second half....they simply crammed it down our defenses throat. Every morning show pretty much saw it the same way. Our number one defense was embarrassed...no other way to put it so I agree 100% that the defense sucked, but the offense didn't suck....they just weren't perfect
Of course the Rams offense
could have played better and would have had to almost play perfect to have had a chance..... But that would have been utopia type performance with no drops , no dumb offsides on 4th and 1 and no jail break sacks....
Like I said what Tony Kornhiser said says it all..."Goff wasn't the issue, Rodgers was"
