or too scared to pull the trigger
yeah, I do see how it works both ways. Thank you ZN.
I don't see him as "too scared" to pull the trigger and I notice that the turnovers came in bunches in games where he was pressing to make plays when he should just take the sack, bail on the play, or slide, or get out of bounds etc.
This is what happens when a qb has 4 bad games mixed in with 11 decent to solid to good games. That's very up and down and it leaves different people seeing different things. It's simply the case, objectively, that if you see it as 4 one way 11 the other it allows different views to take off, all of which will just be partial to a certain extent. No one perspective can turn the corner and just become categorical and absolute. I get a very vivid sense of that because I post more than one place, and here I am in the minority and in another place I am one of the majority.
My view is basically that I don't think the one single common thread in the bad games is Goff playing poorly. I think there are other common threads in all those games.
And btw I won't get into the thing where if someone disagrees about a qb that means they act like posters on the other side are enemies for life.

I don't personalize these discussions. People will all eventually agree on something else. I always tell myself, it pays to remember that.
