I totally agree the Rams aren't passing their way to a win on Saturday anymore than they did against the Seahawks. They will win by playing defense, running the ball and making no critical mistakes on offense (TOs) and scoring TDs when they have the chance.
That's the formula. Do I think Wolford can do better than 9 of 19 for 155 yards? Yes, absolutely that doesn't mean I expect him to throw for 300 yards and 4tds lol.
Wolf... I believe started 0-3 passing and then on the drive he got hurt went 3-3 and had the Rams in the RedZone when he got hurt
Neither QB will carry this offense... but my guess if Akers runs as he did against Sea, that Wolf will pass easily for 250+ yards which is a solid day.
Fingers crossed because I don't think they can win without him having that kind of production at least... short of the Packers having a ton of turnovers

First of all, I'll say I think if the Rams win this game it will have to be largely as they did this last week, which is to say with great pressure on the QB, a positive turnover ratio and running for 150+ yards. Neither of these QBs is going to carry the Rams to victory at Lambeau in January.
That said, Goff wasn't great but Wolford did start out shaky. I do think Goff gets graded on a curve for playing 13 days after surgery and with very limited practice reps. Enough so that with most of the 1st team reps this week and then being 20 days removed from surgery I think he'll be more prepared. He can keep his hand covered up and warm enough to be fine in 24 degree (dry) weather.
Glad to see Wolford is OK and I'm assuming he can be active as the QB2 (or QB1 if McVay doesn't agree with what I said above...).
