I didn't imply any such thing.
I was very clear
I anticipate Wolf starting and if he starts and can get the Akers we saw last Saturday night then I hope that can lead to at least 250 yards passing from Wolf (he had 233 without a run game a couple of weeks ago - why is this an issue or unreasonable to think he might be able to do?). If we get that kind of production offensively I think we can beat them.
Nothing complicated about it. Nothing that requires clarity. Wolf gives us the best chance to win based on listening to McVay. I think he does even if Goff was healthy. You think so because Goff ain't healthy <shrug> Who cares
If the Rams bring that run game and that defense they can win as long as Wolf doesn't lose it... you can talk about Goff if you want but he's not going to start over Wolf and all you have to do is listen to what McVay says in his press conference.

Now I clearly laid out what I would like to see happen and said that if Akers runs the ball as he did against Sea that will bode well for Wolford. I don't know why that would be a controversial statement for you. He threw for 233 yards with no run game against the Cards two weeks ago. Why is it a stretch that if Cam runs for 130 again Wolf can't pass for 250? Not to mention the Packers can be run on
We speculate every single day... you speculate in this very thread that the Rams will lose by double digits.
Great... you go ahead with your pity party for Goff and sell Wolford. I'm going to ride with McVay and root on the Rams (not the Goff's) and hope they do what they have done more often than not this year. Rise to the occasion against the top teams
Run the ball, play defense, have the QB make a few plays, and no critical errors. That's the formula regardless of QB
If Akers runs the ball as he did against Seattle, that will bode well for either of our QBs. Thats not controversial. But what would be controversial would be that it would only bode well for Wolford, but not Goff, as you seem to have implied. Please clarify.
And I'm good with whomever McVay picks to QB in GB. I have no idea of the health of either guy.
If the Rams lose I'm not gonna say the QB who didn't play would have won.
And if the Rams win, I'm not gonna say the QB who didn't play would have played even better.
That is pure meaningless conjecture.
