People just account differently. There are different opinions on exactly how much responsibility is on the HC, QB, and OL. An example of that would be me saying that I feel that Goff is 50% of the problem and McVay and the OL are 25% each.
It's all opinion. The issue I'm seeing here is when others assume I'm putting it all on the QB when it's really we disagree on the amount of responsibility that should be assigned to him.
Exactly. We all disagree on the proportions. I think making it 50% the qb is just plain bad football analysis.
But then when I disagree about the proportions, you go around saying that I don't see others "blame" (wrong word but whatever) other aspects of the offense. That's actually you doing exactly what you are complaining about.
I don't think other arguments, like yours, get at what is really happening, and yes that's because I put the proportions differently.
Now do me a favor and have a real, honest discussion instead of the personalizing thing that happens sometimes. Answer me this. What did the 4 bad games by Goff have in common. Besides Goff struggling. What else happened in every single one of those games. It's things that if they DIDN'T happen the outcome could have been very different.
Really. Discuss it. Real football discussion, 2 people who may see it differently but care about the truth and good discussion. Approach it that way. What else went on in those 4 games, how are they similar.
