Zn,
You can project whatever you want into other fan's statements. That doesn't make you correct. I see that many posters do factor in the team's weaknesses and they also see that Goff has room for improvement.
This is what the original poster is saying, Goff has to improve. It is clear he does. I am a Goff supporter but I can see that he does need to improve. Since the QB is the most important position on the team, he is going to get the lion's share of focus, as he rightly should.
I don't "project" anything, I read what's there.
And here's a good example. Goff cannot "improve" in a vacuum because what's actually happening is that he is crumbling under certain conditions where the entire offense crumbles. Him just "improving" himself alone will not fix the issue.
Look at his bad games (I count 4) and tell me what they have in common. If you think it's just him needing to improve then it proves my point---people SAY they account for the context but in fact, they don't.
Here's the problem with that. The issue is NOT Goff's alone and it will not be fixed even if Goff "improves" under the conditions that thwart the entire offense.
Here's more on that. If you're reading honestly and not just stubbornly arguing, give it a look: [
