64 QB rating and offense generated 0 touchdowns isn't anything to write home about. He didn't do a whole lot, but the Rams did win and he had one hand tied around his back with not having Kupp, the straw that stirs the drink. One thing he did do is run which Goff has to be willing to do more of. Given that, he wasn't completely in over his head and has a future in the NFL.
But that performance
that isn't going to win many playoff games even with a top defense.
I know Goff hasn't been good recently and if he isn't healthy enough to throw the ball, it doesn't matter, but for the Rams to win, the Rams have to be the very best version of themselves and that is the team that gets the ball to Kupp and Woods on the move so they can get yards after catch. Goff has had a lot of success over the years including a run to the superbowl.
Goff gives the Rams the best chance to win even with his recent struggles.
