If Goff is OK against Seattle he will start. I trust McVay and the coaches in any event. But Wolford played good and unless your a Goff hater you could see how teams will defend him. Moreover, to argue Wolford should start notwithstanding Goff is healthy would be to discard all the excellent games Goff has played and focus on a few bad ones is clearly agenda driven and makes no sense since your only looking at one game Wolford has played. I did like the accuracy on several of his throws and not so much on several others. His command on the LOS was also a concern but that should improve with more playing time with the starters. But he was the cause of several O line penalties today. He did look better than I thought he would given his total lack of NFL experience. He proved to me he can be an effective back up qb and if Goff is injured in Seattle or even if the coaches decide to put in Wolford I have no problem with that. I am sure many other teams took notice and I'm betting his wallet will be a lot thicker next season. Good for him.
One last thingy. If Mcvay and the offensive brain trust choose Wolford over a healthy Goff to start against Seattle and they lose both McVay and Snead will be fired by Kroenke after that extension given to Goff and the Gurley mistake.
