I am curious whether the OL has been simply out of sync, has been worn down physically later in the year or something else. Hard to say. Overall the OL has been much better than 2019. No question. But I think they need an upgrade somewhere. Could they upgrade at center? Could Anchrum become a starting road grader at guard?
Through 13 games I was fine with Goffs season. But personally I am having a REALLY hard time getting the taste of the Jets and Seahawks games out of my mouth. If he was healthy maybe he could come back with a sharp season finale and win but he wont have that chance.
I will be curious what they do with Wolford. I hope they cut it loose because why not....
I do think some relatively minor enhancements on offense could make a big difference in 2021. One upgrade on the OL. A 4th WR with deep speed to bring that dimension back to the offense. A TE2 that can block really well. Etc. They will enter the off-season with their RB1, top 3 WRs and TE1 all entrenched so that is a nice place to be.
