That INT was ....in my opinion.....Goff's worst moment as a Ram. I have ZERO explanation for that play...none.
All I'm saying is that McVay may have actually contributed to Goff's regressions. I have never disagreed that Goff has limitations, but so does almost any QB.
McVay's 'offense' isn't helping Goff. It's actually ridiculous....and I believe McVay's
limitations have contributed to accentuating Goff's.
I do not come from the pool of posters who thinks Jared can't throw deep....he's done it.....absolutely gorgeous deep balls to Woods, Watkins, Cooks, Higbee, Everett.....we've seen them!! But that was literally a different offense. This garbage McVay rolled out this year doesn't remotely look like the offense that had Goff tossing bombs in 2018. Does anyone truly believe that is all on Goff?
I posted this earlier on another thread, but there are also those in LA media who agree that McVay plays a huge role in how Goff has looked this year. Send a few of them DM's or tweet, etc. In addition, Talib and even Keyshawn Johnson have openly stated Goff is a 'really good QB'.... but that offense......it's goofy and DC's are on to it......
It's sacrilegious to even mention that red team in San Francisco (as it should be)......but I guarantee you...GUARANTEE IT.....Goff is an annual Pro Bowl selection under Shanny. He has a real running game going, with no name RBs, a TE game, a FB.....and a taped together offensive line to boot.
