...man alive, Goff has outright sucked much of this season. But if some of you truly believe this team is a QB away from the Superbowl I think you need to take a breath and re-think.
This is a team filled with possession receivers (very good ones mind you), an offensive line that buckles from the inside out on just about every pass attempt, a coach that has zero killer instinct and a predilection to pass on every down. The fact that this team, with the NFC title on the line and locking up the playoff spot, couldn't score a TD on 4 downs from the 1 yard line speaks volumes about the soft nature of the offense.
Anyone who thinks Darnold or Stafford alone can fix this is going to begging for yet another QB in 3 years.
amazing isn't it....I think some just want a scapegoat and he is the easiest target and lets them feel better about the rest of the team when you can just single out one guy constantly
Greg Jennings who announced the Rams vs Niners last month said something that speaks volumes, but no one wants to hear it...."the Rams don't have any weapons that scare a defense" this isn't the 2018 team anymore....teams don't fear our running attack nor our speed at WR and that makes it easy to defend ...couple that with an OL who hasn't been playing well along with losing our best RB and the QB is going to struggle vs good defenses. He is pressing these days and its showing....hopefully the injury is a blessing in disguise for everyone and we can rally around the back up and play good football and let Jared take a break and a deep breath and come back better
