Some of us attempt to deal in reality and see the whole picture. And you may want to check on your comment regarding 'nothing extraordinary' in terms of pressure yesterday. Start here: [

Goff is not playing well and making mistakes. So are others. Thanks for posting Jourdan's tweets, they only confirm what some have been saying: McVay is part of the problem. This offense is closer to high school than NFL. He may have thought it would help eliminate mistakes.....but has it? Is Goff the only one making mistakes on offense? Do defensive coordinators get paid to stop this offense?
Coaches have a responsibility to prepare their team. Do you believe McVay has done a stellar job of that and Goff is just the lame duck?
Goff has proven he can play well above average....and it does NOT take everything around him to be perfect. But if you can't see how other teams have adjusted to McVay's weaknesses as a play caller, there isn't anything anyone can tell you. I encourage you to go back and take a look at Jared throwing from the pocket, wit five step drops, throwing traditional outs against Cover 3 yesterday. Notice anything? I challenge you to go back to 2018 and watch several games worth of offense......do you think that resembles this offense?
There is a lot more at play than just the QB. But it makes for entertaining reads on this board.
Using your own reasoning: could it be that some people want McVay to be a better offensive mind than he really is?
