I just don't get it. The OL was one of the highest graded units for much of the year. Why is it always someone else's fault and seemingly never Goff's?

IMO, the struggles the OL are having are directly tied to defenses not fearing or even respecting Goff. They know they aren't going to get burned deep and at this point, even attempted to go deep. So, we've to an OL that can actually perform well but a QB that doesn't seem to read defense well or process quickly. That's a QB issue, not an OL issue.

So explain how such a great Oline can't punch it in with 1st and goal on the 1. or 24 qb pressures? I haven't heard one person extolling the virtues of this oline. They're soft. The Jets, 49ers, Dolphins and Seahawks have now pushed them around. Perhaps Goff could hit long passes to his WR's if the Oline could hold blocks for more than 2 seconds?
