I think he is on the hot seat no matter what happens.

That is, two wins, and those with doubts will not be dropping those doubts.

For the record I expect him to play as well as he did in the SF/Tampa games.

It will make no difference though if someone is a doubter...they won't assess those wins the same way. We'll get a lot of nitpicking and arguments over this or that play.

(Like whether the miss on the wheel route to Henderson was because it was a hurried throw.)

Meanwhile those with far fewer doubts will just look at two wins and go, I expected that actually.

Time, as in far more than 2 games, is what it will take to change the minds of this or that doubter.

And it will take more than 3 bad games this year to change the minds of those who just are not longterm doubters.

But game by game if people want to post "he is on the hotseat" posts...that's just to be expected too.
