I don't disagree.. thats why I am hoping that McVay adds more variations of runs... so that when teams lockdown that outside zone run McVay relies on so heavily they can counter with other runs inside, or pitches, or draws... to throw the Cards off and not force Goff into the air putting the game on him
What is Goff going to do if he has to hold the ball because they take away his first read? Does he go through his progression? Does he panic as soon as the first read is not there
Personally, I just expect him to play better today given past history. It's all we really have to go on
