The Giants gave Goff trouble and their head coach is a Bellichick disciple and so is the coach of Miami.
Right now the expectation is he will be fine against the Cards and if he isn’t IMO it just means he’s regressing even further
I'm kind of getting tired of hearing how he does well against the Cards and even Seahawks for that matter.
Goff will earn very little respect if he has good games vs the 2 bird teams in the NFC West.
He will earn no respect no matter how well he does when the Rams play the Jets.
Jared needs to not be the reason the Rams lose any of these next 5 games.
At Cards = Always plays well against them bla bla blah
vs Pats = Don't lose the game because Mr. Belichick will have a plan to make you beat them unless the run game carries the offense and makes the game simple for you.
At Seahawks = If Russell and company are scoring points you need to go toe to toe with him. Again if he plays well in this game, he will get little respect because he plays well against the Bird teams in the NFC West.
vs Cards = He will get little if any respect for playing well in this game etc...
Conclusion Mr. Goff needs to not be the reason they lose any of these last 5 games.
He doesn't need to put up gaudy numbers . He needs to show that he can lead this team to another NFC Title.
Let's not get into playoff talk until we see how he performs in these last 5 games.
The current Rams defense is good enough to make a run at the Lombardi if the offense can do it's part.
