Well I don't go to the stats or to PFF before I have an opinion. I look in terms of generalities and not "numbers". I know others are religiously different on this and believe the "ratings" are the end all in this stuff. So when it comes to that stuff I should just back off because I'm not one that will ever use that in a discussion between different opinions. My eyes just tell me that after watching him at Cal and with the Rams he will never be the elite qb who can handle pressure and be responsible for the entire offense (i.e. limited running game). OTOH I think he has all the attributes necessary to become a very good qb if he has protection and a good running game. As to whether he deserved the extension and even being the number one draft pick-I'm doubtful.
