As I said in a recent post, I'm done debating Jared Goff and prefer to let the rest of this season speak for itself.
I will simply mention a few obvious things he needs to accomplish or these posts will continue and continue and continue.
Goff needs to....
1, Win a SB ring.
2. Be the MVP of a SB (because QB's are 95% likely to win this award).
3. And.. after winning his first SB & MVP, he needs to play well the following season.

I understand your sentiment but there is very little that will stop the criticism. It's what makes football so great that also makes it aggravating. One can argue the pro or con of any given subject relatively easily.
With your criteria for example, Nick Foles, Joe Flacco and Eli Manning have all won a SB and SBMVP and had good years after that. At least on par with what they had previously done.
Overall, I think most Rams fans, even his critics, are satisfied with him. Maybe not happy, but satisfied. Having a QB that is healthy every week and more often than not, capable and not detrimental, is all any NFL fan could reasonably hope for. I think where the aggravation comes in with Goff is he doesn't consistently play to the level that Rams fans know he can handle. And that isn't the perfect storm of circumstances of '17 - '18 IMO. That is unreasonable.
But for him to languish in the bottom third of the league for the past two years warrants criticism. He is better than that and I think fans rightfully expect better than that. If he continues to perform like he has the last two weeks, I think most of the criticism will die down. If he continues to be Jekyll and Hyde, much like Eli, the criticism won't fade.
