Dude. Come on.
The fumble was 100% on the center. He snapped it on the wrong count. That's not even debatable.
The Henderson INT is on Goff, however Henderson screwed the pooch. When the defender purposely let's you go on a delayed blitz you turn your ass around because you are hot read number one. Instead, Henderson bounced out into the flat. Goff should have seen Henderson's commitment to his route and eaten the sack but that's one that will get Henderson CHEWED up in the film room.
The INT to Woods was a clear PI. Woods was tackled on his route 2 steps back. However, Goff was leading the WR too much in that scenario nonetheless.
I don't agree that is was 100% on the center. I do agree that Goff wasn't ready for it but when the center snapped the ball, the rest of the offense moved so it makes it seem like they were on the same snap count. It looks as if Goff might have forgotten the snap count.
As far as the interceptions, can't we play this game with ANY pass? Back things up far enough and you can make it seem like someone else's fault. And I do try to consider the reality. But these weren't tipped passes or doinks off of the receiver or just bad luck plays out of the QB's control. I mean, is anyone trying to argue that one of Brady's picks he couldn't step into the throw and got hit just as he was throwing it so it shouldn't count? No, even though all those things happened, he is responsible for throwing the pick. Just like Goff is responsible for his.
That's what is aggravating to me and I'm sure others. Goff did some nice things yesterday but no one's allowed to mention the mistakes and on top of that, the mistakes are minimized or dismissed as if they weren't his fault. He had a great first half and then he had a shaky second half.
