I don't think anyone would be complaining if that was what we were seeing. But that's the problem. We're not seeing development. The best that can be said is that he has stagnated but realistically, he's regressed. He's inconsistent and streaky and still makes too many turnover worthy plays.
If he cleans all of that up, I'm sure most Rams fans won't have any complaints. But he hasn't played like a top pick or top QB for the last couple of years and he isn't showing signs of breaking out of, what we all hoped, was just a funk. More and more, it looks a lot more like the norm than a slump.
