Ok, I get all the "he should know where the free man is..." stuff and agree. Goff SHOULD know that and be better at dealing with it.

My question to McVay is: You watched the game unfold and saw Goff struggling with doing that, then why did you keep calling this empty backfield plays against Zero Blitz? At some point, should you see your QB is NOT adjusting and making good decisions and change it up. Maybe call some more runs (especially to the right side) that seemed to be working pretty well?

As a HC, his job is to put his players in the best position to win. He has said it a million times too, but he still seems to slow to adjust to helping his QB when he needs it most. The pass was NOT working against that Miami D but our run game was! WTH are we doing throwing the ball 61 TIMES?!?!?! It makes no sense.
