As far as Herbert throwing 2 picks and hurting the Chargers yesterday, that's true. I never defended a QB having turnovers. But I also think the big picture is applicable here. Herbert is playing at a high level and his coach is coaching at a mediocre/poor level. His defense is terrible.
The Rams aren't in that situation this year. The defense is actually playing pretty well. Goff has a solid defense, productive running game and healthy receivers. It just doesn't seem warranted to make excuses for him this year.
Yeah and the Rams are a horrible call from being 6-2 but they 5-3
Meanwhile the Chargers are 2-5(1-5 with Herbert)
So when the Rams win it has nothing to do with Goff, only the loses.... ok got it
