Our division is too tough, and I hate to say it, but Jared Goff is a big question mark to me now. I've always supported him and believed in him but there is just too much evidence on tape now to not realize he just crumbles and panics when he gets pressured.
That is the book on him. Get in his face and he will not make plays. That was the Dolphins defensive game plan and it worked. Goff was AWFUL in this game. Just dreadful.
And McVay...for the life of me I don't understand why he wasn't calling roll-outs to get Goff away from the pressure. Or quick slants in the areas left open by Miami's constant blitzing. They needed to make Miami pay for those blitzes and they never did.
On a positive note, our defense was outstanding.
I love the Rams and will support them to the end, but I'm also a realist. I don't see them going anywhere this season and I'm beginning to think that Jared Goff is not the answer for us at QB.
