Disagree. The entire thing improved last year after the bye and in the last 7 games of 2019 there was no belief that McVay was limiting the number of long-developing pass plays.
I posted a stat sometime before showing that in 2019 Goff had more 7 step drops last year than any other qb. And the fumbling issue stopped in 2019.
What it looks like to me is that over the bye last year they just worked on the issue with Goff and fixed it.
Always look things up and don't rely on memory. They could not have cured it during the bye because he has 3 fumbles (1 lost) in the Steelers game right after the bye.
Then there's one fumble (but no FL) in the Baltimore game...and none since.
