Bradley Chubb (DEN) would actually be fairly inexpensive for the Rams: [
overthecap.com]
In 2020: $485,294 (the pro-rated portion of his $750,000 salary, based on a trade after game 5)
In 2021: $4.32M ($920,000 salary plus $3.4M roster bonus).
However, Denver gave him a huge signing bonus ($18M on a $27M contract!) and the pro-rated portion of that bonus from both 2020 and 2021 would go against Denver's cap to the tune of around $8M in dead money. That's a pretty big deterrent, even assuming Denver wanted to trade him.
