he seems like a fine young ambitious man with an eclectic social media presence, but no more qualified than anyone of us to offer an opinion regarding uniforms. i have no problem with him making a list (lots of people do lists) but im not sure why its definitive. why i should be persuaded to believe that the informs "sucks" because he tells me they do. Furhter there is an odd line in the review...
They’ll be the first team in the league to not use white in their away jersey, calling the color “Bone,” but it simply doesn’t fit in with their branding anywhere. It’d fit much better with most other teams.so bone would work with most other teams but not the rams? how does that make any sense?
lol...Right? It makes no sense. He is just another guy with an opinion. IMO, no better than any of us. No more right or wrong.
I will say that the Rams uni change has received more media time than most for a reason. Like the uni or not, it is sooo overthought with all the Fibonacci, Ocean wave, colors of the Sand, etc that went into the design that most people are talking about. The Rams almost came across as "bragging" about what went into the design. Problem is that they were not in touch with the fans of their own brand. They should have just kept it simple. A simple series of polls on social media would have told them what would have been more widely accepted by their base. Right now there is a divide where you would want unity.
The home run they were looking for turned into a pop fly out. Good news is that they still have 2 outs left (2021, 2022) to win this game.
IMO, we will be hearing various opinions on this for a long time until they change them. It is a very passionate subject among Rams FANatics like us. I have no issues with either side stating their opinions but if people are tired of hearing how great or bad the new uni is, they might want to avoid any threads that discuss them.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
